I began writing when I was too young to fully understand the things that were happening around me, so I put pen to paper and drew out the words that made the most sense.

As I grew up, writing wasn't something that grew with me and I lost the passion for it for a very long time. One of my best friends and successful author Clinton W. Waters jumped in with me to do a month-long writing exercise in February '22. After that, I couldn't stop.

A love of seeking to understand fear has led me down a path of focusing my writing on explorations of the things that terrify me most. Horror is subjective - it's not always jump scares and big monsters. For me, it's the unknown, the unseen, and the unexplainable. 

Growing up in the south has colored my writing with a deep appreciation for never truly knowing what's in the dark, and an innate understanding to respect it nonetheless.
